We had a fantastic concert on Saturday at All Hallow’s Church in Gedling, together with the fabulous primary school choir from All Hallows. It was a great community event with a great attendance. The event was hosted by the amazing Sarah Julian from Radio Nottingham.

The choir have been well coached and gave us some great songs with harmonies and actions! We played some carols and some more challenging christmas numbers including Carol of the Bells (arr Sparke) and Christmas Finale (arr Paul Lovett Cooper).

The highlight was John Yarker’s tuba solo, Frosty the Snowman, complete with snowman outfit and tricky cadenza! This was followed by Twelve Days of Christmas with input from Sarah’s horn and Rowena and family singing from the pulpit!

The attendance was fantastic and the raffle and refreshment sales have helped raise lots of money. Thanks to all who attended. We enjoyed it and hope that you did too!
